Can You Really Have Concentrated
Omega 3 Health?

Over the last 70 years, a steady trend has developed. Americans,
pressed for time due to an increasingly hectic lifestyle, have sought to
concentrate their lives. There is a rush to experience—to live—as much
as possible within a small window of time. Technology from faster travel
to lightning-quick information access—has put vast stores of knowledge
and seemingly limitless excitement easily within reach. As a result, our
health has both benefited and suffered.
On the one hand, the rush to feel has altered our diets in a negative
way. Dietary choices are impacted by time; fast foods and packaged and
processed calorie bombs offer convenience that is hard to match. Simply
put, Americans are trying to concentrate their calories in a way that
takes up as little time possible—with a predictably negative effect.
There is another side, though. The same mindset that leads to the
reductive thinking just mentioned—more for less—has filtered down to
health-minded consumers. This has led to an abundance of products that
promise convenient health. Nowhere is that more evident than with fish
The proliferation of fish oils over the last 15 years speaks to the
demand that Americans have placed on the market. We want more health,
and we need it to be convenient. In essence, we are trying to
concentrate our health.
Minami fish oils meet that demand better than any fish oil on the
market—thanks, in no small part, to their one-of-a-kind concentration
In today’s world, Americans want the most for the least.
Minami Nutrition’s highly concentrated Omega-3 fish oil formulations
deliver on that promise – thanks to its unique concentration and purity
The vast majority of fish oils on the market today are subjected to a
distillation process—steam or molecular, for example. This is an
important step that removes impurities from the oil, and eventually
concentrates the oil. In order to concentrate the amount of omega-3s,
fish oil is distilled several times at temperatures ranging from 200° to
500° F. This process concentrates omega-3 fatty acids—the primary
nutrient derived from fish oil. The vast majority of fish oils available
to us use this distillation process.
Minami Nutrition fish oils do not use this distillation process.
Minami Nutrition uses a patented technology that is much cooler,
cleaner and greener in every sense. Minami fish oils start with a
patented, dual-process technology that features both Supercritical CO2
fluid extraction and follows with Supercritical CO2 fluid
chromatography. While there is a lot of science involved in the two
technologies, the key takeaway is that neither process exceeds 113° F.
Compared to the standard distillation process that most fish oils
undergo, the Minami process results in the same purification levels,
while using up to four times less heat. And that’s just the start.
Concentration - Why Take 3 When You
Can Take 1?
Minami’s Supercritical CO2 technology has benefits that go far
beyond purification. The patented process also concentrates the levels
of omega-3s more effectively than other processes. That means that
Minami fish oil has far more omega-3s and far less saturated fat—a
common filler ingredient— than typical fish oils. Minami fish oils are
free of saturated fat and have concentration levels as high as 95%.
Minami concentration technology meets Americans directly at their
point of need because it allows Minami to offer more once-daily fish oil
formulas than any other leading brands. Why take three capsules when you
can get the same omega-3 nutrition in only one? That is the very
definition of convenience—and concentrated health.
DIFFERENCE - Minami’s Dual supercritical technology means less
heat during concentration than other processes.
offers among the highest concentrated omega-3s on the market,
meaning fewer capsules and less fillers like saturated fats.
|3. PURITY—Minami oils go
through rigorous third-party testing and have remarkably low
levels of oxidation as well as undetectable levels of dioxins,
pesticides and heavy metals like mercury.
FORMULATIONS—Minami is committed to the advancement of scientific
support for omega-3 nutrition and has participated in 11 clinical
studies using the exact Minami formulas. Minami uses the latest
clinical research to produce fish oils that have specific EPA-to-DHA
