The Importance of Internal Cleansing and Heavy Metal
Chelation in our Industrial World

Environmental Pollution - IT’S A TOXIC WORLD
Because of this industrialized world that we live in, we are exposed
to thousands of pounds of chemicals and contaminates, every single
day! They are in the food we eat, the air we breathe and the water we
drink. It’s true that our bodies have an internal detoxification
system from the liver, gastrointestinal tract, gallbladder, skin,
lymph and kidneys, and they do an incredible job considering all the
environmental toxins. However, with all the toxins around us, it is
too big a challenge for the body to be left on it’s own without
support. ENVIRONMENT HAS BECOME INCREASINGLY MORE POLLUTED. THERE ARE
NOW OVER This influx of chemical products translates to billions upon
billions of pounds of toxins being released into the environment, and
some of these toxins will eventually find their way into our bodies.
There are toxic substances in our homes, in our workplaces, in our
foods, in our water and in the air we breathe.
Most of the technological advances associated with these chemicals are
supposed to be improving our lives; in reality, some of these advances
are creating unhealthy conditions within us. Drugstores are filled
with thousands of synthetic over-the-counter and prescription drugs.
Supermarkets have over 40,000 food products with preservatives,
artificial flavors and colors of every description. The food we eat
and the water we drink are full of pesticides and herbicides. The
hormones used to raise livestock that becomes our food also cause new
health issues that are only now being recognized. Recent research has
shown that allergies, inflammation, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis
and more can be traced to chemicals and toxic substances in our food.
No matter how careful we are, daily exposure to toxins is inevitable.
No matter how careful we are, daily exposure to toxins is inevitable.
These toxins eventually find their way into our bodies, from our air,
food and water supplies.
Most crops are grown with pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers and
fungicides. Residues from cancer causing chemicals are found in:
grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables. Farm animals are given hormone
supplements, antibiotics, and other drugs to promote growth and

information about the purity of your drinking water.
The air we breathe in each day has:
Exhaust from cars, trucks and buses.
Smoke from coal, oil, fuel powered plants and factories.
Residue from dry cleaning chemicals.
Some of the health consequences of these toxins can include:
IT IS NO LONGER IF WE SHOULD CLEANSE, BUT RATHER HOW OFTEN.
WHAT ARE TOXINS?
A toxin is any compound that has a detrimental effect on cell function
or structure. Some toxins cause minimal negative effects, while others
can cause severe effects or even death.
TOXINS ARE OFTEN DIVIDED INTO FOUR CATEGORIES:
Heavy Metals - These include lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic, nickel
and aluminum. Heavy metals tend to accumulate in vital organs, often
disrupting their function.
Liver Toxins - These include drugs, alcohol, solvents, formaldehyde,
pesticides, herbicides and food additives. Our livers are usually overloaded with these toxins because they are so prevalent in our
diet and in our environment.
Microbial Compounds - Toxins produced by bacteria and yeast in the
digestive tract can be absorbed and transported throughout the body,
significantly disrupting bodily functions. These toxins include toxic
amines, toxic derivatives of bile, various carcinogenic substances,
and endotoxins and exotoxins from bacteria.
By Products from Protein Metabolism - The kidneys are largely
eliminating toxic waste products of protein metabolism (such as
ammonia and urea). Excessive protein consumption and lack of water can
inhibit proper kidney function.
THE BODY’S DETOXIFICATION SYSTEM
Detoxification is the process whereby potentially harmful compounds
are eliminated. The lungs, skin, kidneys, gastrointestinal tract and
liver are responsible for the detoxification process. Every day, these
vigorously to rid the body of toxins and maintain the health of
trillions of cells.
Unfortunately, the excessive amount of toxins in today’s environment
has placed such a burden on these organs that they can no longer
function optimally. Levels of pesticides, herbicides, fossil fuel
emissions, hydrocarbons and heavy metals have reached record
proportions. In fact, the United States Environmental Protection
Agency states that traces of toxic chemicals can now be found in
nearly every American.
These toxic chemicals and heavy metals accumulate in fatty tissues
throughout the body—underneath the skin, in and around the organ
systems, and even in the brain. Research even suggests that the
accumulation of aluminum in the body is linked to Alzheimer’s disease,
the most common type of dementia in seniors.
DETOXIFY YOUR SYSTEM
There are six major bodily systems that store toxins and can be
cleansed of toxins in the detoxification process.
THE HEPATIC SYSTEM – Liver
THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM - Lungs, bronchial tubes, throat, sinuses and
THE GASTROINTESTINAL SYSTEM - Gallbladder (bile), colon and small
THE URINARY SYSTEM - Kidneys and bladder.
THE SKIN - Sweat and sebaceous glands.
THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM - Lymph channels and lymph nodes.
WHY DO WE NEED DETOXIFICATION PRODUCTS?
The body has an innate ability to heal itself. Nature has given us the
tools and the adaptive processes to correct for various natural
aberrations we may encounter. Unfortunately, not even nature could
have predicted our need to cope with the thousands of chemical
substances we are exposed to daily. This toxic overload has reduced
the liver’s ability to eliminate toxins, leading to many of the health
problems we now encounter.
Let’s look at an analogy that can better illustrate this situation.
Imagine that the body’s detoxification system is like the windshield
wipers on an automobile. Now imagine that snow, rain and hail are
toxic substances, and that a clear windshield is analogous to a body
clear of toxins. When snow begins to fall, you turn your wipers on to
clear the windshield. This, in essence, is detoxification. As more
snow falls, you may have to increase the speed of the wipers to keep
the windshield clear. But what happens if a storm occurs overnight and
leaves two feet of snow on your windshield? No matter what speed you
set your wipers to, the weight of the snow will be too much for the
wipers to handle. The only way to get the wipers going again will be
to first clear the snow with a scraper. In a similar way, when our
bodies become overloaded with toxins, our natural detoxification
system can’t remove all those toxins by itself. It needs a
detoxification program to help the body restore optimal functionality.
Pathways for Detoxification
THE LIVER PERFORMS OVER 500 FUNCTIONS:
The liver maintains thousands of internal enzyme systems and produces
a quart of bile daily to help digest fats. As the largest filter in
the human body, the liver is considered the major organ of
detoxification and filters half a gallon of blood per minute. Every
chemical that enters our body, including drugs, pesticides, herbicides
and hormones, is broken down by liver cells (hepatocytes).
THE TWO MAJOR ROUTES OF DETOXIFICATION ARE KNOWN AS PHASE I AND PHASE
II DETOXIFICATION PATHWAYS:
DURING PHASE I DETOXIFICATION, toxic, fat-soluble chemicals (which can
only dissolve in oily solutions, not water) are neutralized, and the
process of making these chemicals (intermediates) water soluble and
more chemically active begins.
DURING PHASE II DETOXIFICATION, intermediates are combined with
minerals, amino acids and other endogenous com¬pounds. This process,
known as conjugation, makes the entire molecule water soluble, thus
allowing excretion via urine or bile.
When the liver becomes overburdened with toxins, fat-soluble toxins
cannot be conjugated and remain in circulation, eventually becoming
incorporated into fatty tissues.
Complete Body Cleanse Kit by Life-Flo
Complete Body Cleanse Kit detoxification program is
designed to help improve your health by dealing with the toxins that
accumulate in your body. It gently enhances your body’s detoxification
system while helping to rid your body of heavy metals. There are many
different cleanses out in the market place. None are as complete in
one box, with studied and trademarked ingredients, as Life-Flo’s new
and improved Complete Body Cleanse kit.
The complete detoxification system of the Complete Body Cleanse Kit
addresses the areas of greatest concern:
Support a healthy colon by removing harmful toxins from the
Support bile function in the liver to detoxify and remove chemicals
and toxins from our circulatory system.
Helping the body gently eliminate heavy metals by chelating heavy
metals and removing them from the blood without being reabsorbed.
The Complete Body Cleanse kit can help improve your overall health and
energy levels including:
Increase Your Energy - The liver has the second highest energy
consumption, so by improving liver function, energy is restored.
Promote Emotional Well-Being -The liver conjugates (packages) many
hormones in the body. When hormones are incompletely or improperly
conjugated, all sorts of chemicals get released that can detrimentally
affect emotional well-being.
THE TRIPLE ACTION DETOXIFICATION PROGRAM
The Complete Body Cleanse Kit program includes everything you need to
help “clear the wind¬shield” of your body’s detoxification system.
There are three separate formula’s in the (Triple Action) all
vegetarian, Complete Body Cleanse Kit, which includes: the Fiber
Formula, Liver Cleanse Formula and Metal Cleanse Formula along with a
booklet that outlines things to enhance your cleanse experience. You
will be help¬ing your body by using the Complete Body Cleanse kit that
is specifically designed to help you detoxify your body and improve
your overall well-being.
Part 1: Fiber Formula
The Fiber Formula contains natural herbal ingredients and all-natural
fibers that help provide nutritive support for healthy colon function.
The fiber complex contains a combination of Psyllium husk, Oat Bran,
Marshmallow, Peppermint, Guar gum and FOS.
Part 2: Liver Cleanse Formula
The Liver Cleanse formula provides nutritive support for optimum
antioxidant levels in liver cells and support liver cell regeneration,
bile flow and detoxification mechanisms. It contains specific
nutrients that help support bile flow from the liver into the upper
small intestines—a key for healthy detoxification. It includes the
following liver cleansing herbs: Milk thistle phytosome, Burdock root,
Boldo leaf, Artichoke leaf, Turmeric rhizome and Dandelion root.
Part 3: Metal Cleanse Formula
The Metal Cleanse formula contains nutrients that are intended to
provide nutritive support for the liver’s ability to cleanse the body
of unwanted substances. This formula also includes a proprietary
chelation complex only available in this triple action detoxification
Components of the metal cleanse are called Ecoganic Chelation
Compound. The first ingredient in Ecoganic is a modified non GMO
citrus pectin found in the pulp and peel of citrus fruits. It is a
soluble fiber that has been scientifically proven to break down
cholesterol and plaque. Because of its low molecular weight it is
easier for absorption into the bloodstream as it gently removes toxic
heavy metals, environmental toxins and mold toxins.
The second powerful ingredient in Ecoganic is Alginate. This is a
seaweed that is extracted from the walls of N. Pacific giant kelp. As
this unique combination of Pectin and Alginate binds toxins and
prevents re-absorption, it is an effective chelator of heavy metals,
without removing essential minerals or nutrients. It is infused with
cilantro and barley grass for enhanced results.
Complete Body Cleanse Kit’s new metal cleanse chelation system has
won the Nutritional Business Journal Product Merit Award, and was
presented at the Scripps Annual Conference in California. It has been
studied for the ability to bind to cadmium, lead, mercury and arsenic
without reabsorbing back into the bloodstream.
Ecoganic was successfully used in removing lead from children ages
5-12 that were working in a battery making factory and had developed
This Ecoganic Chelation Metal Cleanse should be taken on an empty
stomach. Either a ½ hour before meals or 2 hours after. Although this
is a great cleanse for any person, it is quite important for the
population who might eat fish and or sushi often, to be sure that the
stored mercury is chelated out. It is also great for people with high
cholesterol levels and plaque buildup, and those who have mercury
fillings in their mouth or if those fillings are being removed.
Our bodies are a miraculous living, breathing machine! And just like
any machine, must be cleaned in order to function at its best. We
certainly know that in order to maintain our cars, we need to change
the oil and spark plugs and steam the engine, periodically. If we
don’t keep up with its maintenance, the car will break down. Then we
have a choice to buy a new one or trade it in, for a perkier one. This
is not possible with the one and only body that we need to hum for 70,
80, 90 or 100 years. Although, we might like to, we cannot trade it
in. But we can keep our rhythm and run at optimal levels by feeding
our body healthy fuel (food, pure water and natural supplements) and
regular internal cleansing of the colon, liver and heavy metal
chelation with the Complete Body Cleanse kit.
