A: Kombucha is a traditional beverage originating in
the Far East thousands of years ago. Kombucha is the name used for
sweetened tea that has been fermented using a macroscopic solid mass of
microorganisms called a "kombucha colony". The culture contains a
symbiosis of acetic acid bacteria and yeast; it is often called a
mushroom (which it isn’t), a Mother of vinegar or by the acronym SCOBY
for "Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast". The end result is a
beverage rich in B vitamins, enzymes, probiotics, and carboxylic acids.
Its use and benefits have become very popular recently in the natural

6. What is PABA?
A: PABA or para-amino benzoic acid is considered to be
in the B-complex vitamin family. In humans, PABA is normally made from
folic acid by bacteria in the colon since PABA is a component of that
vitamin. Intestinal bacteria can also synthesize folate from PABA. PABA
assists with breaking down of protein, the formation of red blood cells

A: The ingredients in RAW Kombucha are vegan, gluten
free, dairy free and do not contain soy allergens.
14. Does RAW Kombucha contain Sugar?
A: No. RAW Kombucha is Sugar Free. Kombucha beverages
contain sugar; some top selling kombucha brands can include from 4g up
to 14g of sugar in one bottle!
15. Does RAW Kombucha contain any binders or
fillers, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives?
A: RAW Kombucha does not contain fillers, binders or

naturally occurring caffeine due to the black tea content.
18. What is the capsule made of?
A: The capsule used is made of cellulose, the
structural component of the primary cell wall of plants. Although the
content of the capsule is entirely raw, the capsule itself cannot be
made raw. Raw foodist may open the capsule and pour the contents into
water or raw juices. Capsules are labeled Vegan.
19. Does RAW Kombucha require refrigeration?
A: No, it should be stored in a cool dry place both
before and after opening.
20. What is the shelf life of RAW Kombucha?
A: It has a shelf life of 2 years.
21. What is the suggested use for RAW Kombucha?
A: Adults take 2 capsules daily. Best taken with food.
Advanced Usage: Adults may increase gradually to 2 capsules three times
daily (6 capsules per day). Capsules may be opened and contents may be
taken directly with water or juice. Not intended for children.
22. Can RAW Kombucha be taken with other Garden of
