My most remarkable encounter with angels (I call them Light Beings) was in the fall of 1987. I was in Mount Shasta, CA for the weekend with friends participating in a world- wide mediation event called the "Harmonic Convergence". The event was a time when people gathered all over the world at the same time to pray for world healing.

We were attending a Tibetan bell concert and world prayer meditation at a meeting hall in downtown Mt. Shasta. I remember how moved I was by the woman who was performing concert of Tibetan bells and toning. She had a remarkable voice! The concert was followed by a minister woman leading us into prayer for world healing. Then a period of silent prayer followed. During this silent meditation, I remember praying to God, to come and fill the pain filled world with healing and love. My prayer was sincere, from my heart and feeling, not from my mind. One moment, I remember praying and sitting quietly in my chair and the next moment I was somewhere else! I was pleasantly surprised by what surrounded me. A group of beautiful light beings had surrounded me in a circle. I don't recall how many maybe 7 to 10. I no longer had any awareness of the room, only these large, brilliant, beautiful beings. I call them light beings, because they emanated such brilliance and although they had form, it didn't seem solid or dense like our bodies. I felt so loved and peaceful in their presence. They seemed familiar to me, like a reunion instead of a first meeting. They let me know that our prayers were being answered and that they were here to help bring love and healing to our world. I realized that we communicated without words. There seemed to be no time delay in the communication and I could feel  their thought/feeling communication instantaneously. I had no awareness of time or space. I felt totally loved and accepted by them. I had no fear, only joy and love! My desire to stay with them was very strong. I didn't want to leave. I sensed some invisible barrier that prevented me from being with them completely.

This visit with the Light Beings was truly amazing but what happened next was verification of my encounter. At one point, I remember hearing some kind of rumbling or roaring sound and a feeling shaking sensation. My special visitors were gone and I for a brief moment, I felt like I was nowhere. I began to transition back into the awareness of my body and the room. My first thought was to question why there was so much noise in the room when we were supposed to be in silent prayer. I then realized my friends were calling my name and shaking me. I opened my eyes and the room was full of laughing and commotion. My friends, along with the rest of the room were all looking up over my head. As soon as I looked up I felt a huge surge of powerful, loving energy pour through my body from the top of my head. The hanging light over my head was swinging strongly back and forth and all the other identical lights in the room were still. The swinging lamp was unexplainable, as it was a warm August  evening with no breeze in the room. I realized later, that it was a sign from the light beings that they were really here and that I hadn't made up my experience with them. It was one of those special moments in my life where I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are not alone out here and that we are all part of another beautiful existence somehow. It was a very special remembrance for me that can't be expressed fully into words. I am grateful for my experience. I share it with you in the same feeling of endless love that I experienced with the light beings. Since that special event, my life continues to transform, heal and change in so many beautiful ways.
